Spicy candied walnuts

Recipe: Chili Beak Candied Walnuts with Honey (or choose pecans, almonds, peanuts, etc)

- 2 cups walnuts
- 2 tablespoons Chili Beak chili oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the walnuts, Chili Beak chili oil, and honey. Stir well to ensure that the walnuts are evenly coated with the oil and honey mixture.

3. Spread the coated walnuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded. Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the walnuts.

4. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the walnuts are golden brown and fragrant.

5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the candied walnuts cool completely on the baking sheet. As they cool, the honey will harden, creating a crunchy, sweet coating on the walnuts.

6. Once cooled, break apart any clumps of walnuts and transfer them to an airtight container for storage.
